Neoglide is a premium American-made foam material developed specifically for the car wash industry. Unlike traditional cloth or bristle brushes, Neoglide foam is engineered to knock dirt and grime away from your vehicle’s surface rather than wiping it across the paint — which is the main cause of swirl marks and micro-scratches in older car wash systems.

Yes. Neoglide foam is a closed-cell, poreless material, which means it doesn’t trap dirt or debris the way cloth can. It’s also 100% hydrophobic — it doesn’t absorb water — so it stays light and flexible throughout your wash rather than becoming heavy and abrasive. The result is a wash that’s thorough, gentle, and safe for modern clear coat finishes.

A chassis bath — also called an undercarriage wash — is a high-pressure rinse applied directly to the underside of your vehicle. As your car moves through the wash tunnel, powerful jets of water stream from left to right along the full length of your frame, axles, wheel wells, exhaust system, and all the hard-to-reach metal components beneath your vehicle that never get cleaned with a standard exterior wash.

Yes — and this is what sets our process apart. The chassis bath is step one. About 50 feet further down the tunnel, we apply a rust inhibiting agent to the undercarriage. That agent forms a sacrificial barrier on your vehicle’s metal surfaces, so when you drive back out onto salted roads, the inhibitor takes the hit — not your frame or brake lines. Think of it as a shield that stands between your car and the corrosive effects of road salt until your next visit.

It’s not permanent — it needs to be reapplied regularly to stay effective. That’s why we recommend making the chassis bath a consistent part of your routine throughout the winter months, not just a one-time visit. Customers who come in every one to two weeks through the season are the ones who see the real long-term results.

Dramatically. We have customers who’ve been bringing their vehicles in every two weeks for decades, and their cars look years younger than you’d expect. A well-kept 1997 Ford Mustang with regular undercarriage service and rust inhibitor reapplication can look five years old. That’s not luck — that’s the result of consistently protecting their investment.

Northeast Ohio winters are among the hardest on vehicles in the country. Ohio road crews begin pre-treating roads with brine even before snow falls, meaning your undercarriage can start accumulating salt before you ever see a flake. That salt is relentlessly corrosive — it accelerates oxidation on your frame, brake lines, fuel lines, suspension, and exhaust, often in places you can’t see until the damage is already serious.

And if you ever need repair work done on a car that’s been left unprotected through Ohio winters, the salt damage compounds the problem. A job that should take an hour can turn into an eight-hour ordeal requiring a blowtorch, replacement parts, and extra labor — all because rusted, fused bolts and corroded components won’t cooperate. Regular chassis baths and rust inhibitor applications help prevent exactly that kind of costly, time-consuming outcome.

Yes! KWIK is a WaterSavers certified car wash, meaning we meet strict standards for water reclamation and conservation. Professional car washes like ours actually use significantly less water than washing at home, while also preventing soap runoff from reaching storm drains.
